Create Your Own Premium Blends

Blending coffees lets you adjust acidity, balance mouthfeel, and add complexity to your cup. By blending our artisan-roasted specialty coffees, you can create exceptional custom blends that add satisfying variety to your daily brew.
Each  of our single origin coffee’s description includes its flavor profile, roast level, and acidity level to help guide your blending choices. Use these descriptors to find coffees that complement your favorites or bring something new to your cup.
Roast level influences flavor, body, and acidity. Lighter roasts tend to highlight fruit flavors, with a lighter body and brighter acidity—which some people perceive as sourness. Darker roasts tend to emphasize chocolatey, nutty, and roasted flavors, with a fuller body and less pronounced acidity—which some people find less lively. Sweetness and creaminess vary with the coffee, roast, and brewing method.
If you enjoy sweet, fruity coffees but want to soften their bright acidity, try blending with a lower-acidity, darker-roasted coffee. It can add richness while allowing those fruit flavors to shine.
If you enjoy a darker roast but want to brighten the cup, try adding a lighter, fruitier coffee.
If you grind fresh for each brew, start with two-thirds of your preferred coffee and one-third of the other,  combine the beans before grinding. Adjust the proportions until you find your favorite balance.
